Bio

Nick has spent over a decade and a half helping and supporting individuals, families, couples, athletes and teams address issues that impact their personal, social, and occupational functioning. From Counseling, Coaching, Consulting, Teaching, and Preaching, Nick focuses his attention and efforts at helping develop individuals who are motivated for change. 

Counseling: 

Nick is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin, a National Board Certified Counselo, as well as Certified Tennis Coach. Nick’s diverse background allows him to offering intentional support to individuals, couples, and families in need of support and guidance. Nick is dedicated to understanding & working with his clients to address their specific concerns and needs. Nick uses various therapeutic techniques and formats to help his clients create change in their lives. 

Coaching and Sports Performance: 

Nick has worked with young developing athletes all the way to semi and professional athletes locally and internationally. Nick works with a variety of athletes in different sports who have various goals. No matter the sport or the context Nick is highly dedicated to helping each athlete achieve their goals. 

Coaching

(Collegiate Athletics): Nick has collegiate coaching experience at the Division I level in both Mid Major and Power 5 school contexts. 

Coaching (Athletics): Nick has coached tennis at the local club level developing beginner players, state ranked, and nationally ranked players. His focus on developing strong fundamentals, confidence, and strategies to deal with failure and success have helped athletes succeed.  

Nick’s philosophy in working with athletes is to grow the whole person, while this takes time and diligent effort Nick believes that it is imperative to be a good person when striving for success as an athlete. 

Faith and Integration: Nick graduated from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School with a MA in Mental Health Counseling. His decision to attend Trinity was intentional as his mission is to support individuals overall well being, mental health, and spiritual formation. While faith may not always be a topic of conversation in every session it is at the foundation of his understanding of the human condition. 

Teaching

Nick is dedicated to supporting clients as well as helping to develop the next generation of mental health professionals. Nick is holds an Adjunct Professor at Carroll University in their Behavioral Health Psychology Masters Degree program. Nick teaches their Vocational Counseling course.
